Fall!

Enjoying 70 and 80 degree weather in November is just one of the many reasons I love the South! Outfitted in our t-shirts & shorts, we enjoyed a day full of fun outside!
Amid the sidewalk chalk art, blowing bubbles, making silly shadows, raking leaves, and riding bikes, we also managed to get a good start on cleaning out the garage!

Dudi and I went on a date to celebrate.

Micah thought it would be fun to jump in a pile of leaves. He raked up all the ones he could find and by the end had an ankle high mound. No jumping occurred, but still impressive. What a good kid.

We all took our turn blowing the bubbles. The fun ended when Livy decided it was her turn and grabbed the bottle of bubbles. The boys chased her, the bubbles were spilled, tears were shed... on to the next adventure.

P.S- Olivia found the monkey backpack a few days ago and since then, it has rarely left her back. Meals, naps (I do sneak in and take it off when she's asleep), trips to the gym, car rides, you name it. All day, every day. I'm wondering how long this will go on.

We have one of those monkey backpacks too, and my kids go crazy for it. It is really cute. If it were a little bigger, I might even consider wearing it. :)

Mary!!! I love your Blog!!!!!!!!

Those pictures are so fabulous! You are a great photographer, girlie! The one of Asher blowing bubbles should be in a magazine article about fall! I also enjoyed seeing the, "older Anakin" in his wig.

I got a giggle out of, "bubbles were spilled, tears were shed"...I know that sort of scenario all to well. *sigh* ;)

Hey, I will send you an e-mail with other blog addresses from ladies in the ward.

Okay...when I was on my mission in Texas there was a young man in one of the wards named Flay Peterson. I saw the name Flay on your sidebar and I clicked on it...I am wondering if it is the same person. Do you happen to know if Flay grew up in Friendswood, Texas?

I lurked all over the Peterson's blog...(if they read this...uh..."Hi, Petersons ☺"...and it is definitely him.

That is kind of funny...Mike served in Italy with Davin's brother and I served in Texas with one of your friends.

Man, the Marshmans are old.

Mary, I love your pictures. Thanks for sharing all the little day-to-day details I've spent years missing, I'm thinking! I love hearing about the bubbles, the back-pack, the leaf raking, the communication between you and your boys, etc. etc. I'm glad you and Davin got in a date. Where'd you go? I wish I lived across town and could drive over and baby sit for ya all. :) Dan and I love you and Niki and your little threesome so very much. It's impossible to describe really.

Marcia-mom Tell the kids 'Hi'!

p.s.
How do I get on your family and friends list on your home page? And---I'm trying to sign up under my own blogger account--but if it ends up posting as 'Salliblog' just know I wasn't sucessful changing my password yet from the one SJ sent up for me. Sorry

Mary, please pass onto Lauren Marshman that I'm the mother of Mark and Davin--and obviously after reading her post, she and Mike were meant to cross paths with my Anderson Family! I remember meeting Mike at your ward that last Sunday I was there when Livy was blessed; he shook my hand and we talked very briefly about Mark being in Italy with him. Returning home, I mentioned this encounter to Mark, and his comment about Mike was that "he was a great missionary, and a good friend." Obviously a lot of respect and love there between the two. Lauren and Mike can click on Mark and Elizabeth's blog on your friend list, I'm thinking.

Oh--and one more thing;
Your comment about the bubbles being spilled and 'tears shed' stuck in my head. I now know what that is reminiscent of! It sounds like Pres. Monson and one of his 'little Tommy' talks! [maybe Davin will get that more since he attends Priesthood ssession]. Taylor talks about that occasionally--just for fun. :)
