The most wonderful time of the year

Tonight was our counties Christmas tree lighting and festivities. There are vendors, singing, ballet performances, and of course, the lighting of the Christmas tree. It was really fun.

It was pretty cold out tonight. Thanks for letting the boys borrow the blanket Andersons!

I'm a terrible mother. My kids haven't ever had a picture with Santa, as is obvious by Olivia's reaction. They've never really wanted one, and quite frankly, I never wanted to wait in those long lines. So, when I saw the short line, I was all over that photo opp. Livy was a bit traumatized...but I got the picture.

Here she is recounting the harrowing Santa encounter to her dad.

It SNOWED!!!! Well, it snowed the kind of snow I like...the fake stuff. It was actually soap. Whatever works I guess. The kids LOVED it. They were covered from head to toe.
Asher was a little hesitant around the "snow." I found out later he didn't want to get snow on his green shirt. I reassured him that it was FINE and all was well. What a cutie.
Plus, he just wanted to keep going back to get the free hot chocolate!

No sign of Santa=smiles.

It was a really fun night and got me in the Christmas mood. I love this season.

I know this sounds insensitive but that picture of Olivia after she was scared by Santa is so, so darling. Poor girlie.

I also love that picture of Asher and Micah in the Anderson's blanket. Such handsome young men.

Hey, I thought you were the Andersons...heh, heh, heh, I crack myself up.

That soap is AWESOME!! We are going to go next year when John is no longer under house arrest.

Mike was paranoid that his phone call was offensive...I told him I thought that Dudi would get that it was a joke.
