During a recent business trip to Africa, I came across this toilet ....
I can officially mark this as my best toilet experience ever. I especially liked the well-defined spots for my feet. It was a perfect match: size 9.5 shoes. Very fun indeed.
The whole trip wasn't only about toilets. Here was the view from my hotel ...

One of Mike's favorite mission stories is of what they used to do to greenies. They took them to some sort of a porta-potty that, from what he described must have been similar to what is pictured here. He said that you have to stand on little pegs on the floor because when you flush the toilet the water would run over the entire floor and into the hole and if you weren't perched on the pegs to raise you up off of the floor you'd get your shoes and socks wet. (I'm not sure if I described it in an understandable way but at any rate...the seasoned missionaries would howl with laughter when the poor greenie flushed and the floor flooded and their socks and shoes got drenched) *shudder*
Well-my, my. What an interesting bathroom experience!
We did like seeing what you saw from your hotel room. Kind of makes us feel a tiny speck closer to you. :)
