One down

I was ready to sit down and post a bunch, but for some reason my pictures aren't coming up, and what good is a blog without a photo? So I'll just give the important info and then recap with pictures once I get that working.

I held it together today, although when Ash asked me not to leave as I was dropping him off, it got a little close. He did awesome though. When I got to the car, I didn't do as good. And when I walked in the house and heard how quite it was, I was even worse. I'm happy to say that I did pull my self together rather quickly though., and I had a bunch of awesome friends who called to see how the drop off went and share their first day stories.

When I picked him up from school, he was all smiles. "Mom, my teacher is so, so nice. I really love school." Woo-Hoo! Relief. He did say that school was super long and he didn't think I was ever going to come back to get him. He was so cute telling me about all the stuff he did.

Micah loved his teacher too! I knew he would. He enjoys school, but I was a little worried because he only has one of his friends in his class.

One day down.

We celebrated the 1st day of school by taking the kids out for a special FHE dessert. The good feelings about school were wearing off by the end of the day and some doubts about going tomorrow started. Oh, boy.

Anyways, we are all pooped.
