My little secret

My children have been deprived. I am somewhat ashamed to say that they have never really played with playdough. Bring on the paint, glue, paper, clay, etc., but please, no dough!
For one thing, I don't like the smell. Reason two is that I can't stand the way it crumbles into tiny little pieces that you keep finding around the house for months. Well, I'm a changed woman. My friend (thanks Kambree) gave me a recipe for playdough using Kool-Aid. Problem one-solved. I love the way that the Kool-aid dough smells. Yum!
It also is squishy and does not (easily) crumble into thousands of pieces. Problem two-solved.
Therefore I have no reason to continue my hatred toward playdough. In fact, I really enjoy it, look at the sweet bling Micah and Ash made for me. So talented.

I actually went out and bought the big crayola bucket of playdough tools.

I kid you not, I bought the set on Monday and they have played with it for 4+ hours each day since. All of them! When Micah got home from school, he was all over it (making up for lost time)!

So if you stop by our house...

we'll probably still be playing with the stuff!
