It is that wonderful time of the year when the weather is perfect! We've been able to play outside, plant flowers, and get started on building a garden. The down side of spring is that eyes are swollen shut, sneezing is non-stop, and all the allergy fun is here too!
I was in charge of Asher's "joy school" this week (we rotate with a few of his friends for a little learning/craft time each week). I was looking for a fun springtime craft and found a cute egg carton tulip tutorial on the crafty crow blog site ( I love her ideas). I adapted it a little and made daffodils instead. It was super easy for the kids to make and Asher has carried his around for the past two days.
Sadly, they will probably be the longest lasting flowers of the season! I'm not the best gardener!

What a great idea!!! I'm going to have to do that one. And I would love to get together when you head this way...it will be great to see you guys, especially your cute little girl.
Those look GREAT! I love that he has been carrying them around. So sweet.
I agreee...the weather is so nice temperature-wise but that pollen is like poison!
Toby does a joy school as well. She really likes it. I will have to pass your idea over to her.
Wonderful idea and super cute! Allergies are terrible around this house too. It is a love hate relationship with spring because of that!
