Seven

It's hard to believe that Micah is seven. The time really has gone by so fast and he's gotten to be such a big kid! One of my favorite things about Micah is his laugh. You know, the one that comes from the gut. He has a laugh that when you hear it, you can't help but laugh too. It's great! He is such an awesome kid and so much fun.

We spent a few weeks deciding on how he would spend birthday #7, he didn't want a party this year, only putt-putt and going out to eat with the family. Therefore, it was spent doing just that. Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast, oreo cupcakes at school (which was given the "these rock" stamp of approval by one classmate), and the day of sugar was off to a great jumpstart.

Because of Micah's exquisite taste we dined at Pizza Hut (rain caused putt putt to be put on hold till Saturday) and then headed home for the grand finale.

This is the first year he has NOT asked for a Star Wars cake. Times are changing, or else he just wants to test my cake decorating skills on a different genre.
After cake, gifts, and a few rounds of Rockband, it was off to bed.

Happy Birthday, Micah!
We love you.

Wow! Marry is there anything that you can not do! You amaze me!

I remember when you, Davin and Micah came over to my parents before you left. Micah was watching a movie and I think that he ate a whole bag of popcorn all by himself! He never took is eyes off the TV and his hand was going from mouth to bowl. He looked so funny as we sat back and watched him. I think you said that was the first time he had popcorn! He was so young then...time flies!

Miss you! I wish you lived closer.

Great birthday cake, yet again sweet Mary!
That looks like it should work for Mr. B's birthday as well. Save yourself some time and just repeat that one come his big #32 this year. :)
Thanks for sharing the 'outline' of Micah's Big B. DAY #7. It was great talking with him on the phone. xoxo G. Marcia
p.s. By the way, I second Jenny's comment: I, too, wish you lived closer!! :)
