Our days living in the Mainz Hilton Hotel are over, but the memories live on.
While we were living in the hotel on our arrival to German the kids took a liking to a poster in one of the elevators.
Enter, Weingut Beck (pronounced Vine Goot Beck).
The picture just made us laugh.
So, every morning it became the thing to get "weingut." The kids would wait in anticipation to see if the weingut elevator would come before the other one and all would cheer when it did. It even got to the point that when the elevator without the poster came first, Asher would run in press the top floor to send that elevator away and make us wait for the weingut one. Sad I know.
After 24 days in a hotel, don't judge us too harshly.

That is HILARIOUS!!! I love how the kids made sure they got in the desired elevator.
The pictures (especially Dudi) are cracking me up.
This post brought back some memories of the time when John was in the NICU. The boys used to try to guess which of the elevators would come first and laugh when we got the one that had a man with his finger over his mouth that said, "Shhhhhhhh! Our patients are resting!" (or something like that) We have some pictures of the boys making the, "shhhh" sign over their mouths next to the man in the picture. Ahhh memories.
