I have seen some pretty hilarious u tube videos out there (and please, feel free to send me links to your favorites-really). But, nothing out there beats the Mormon messages at lds.org. Last night I showed 2 of them for FHE lesson-"Sanctify yourselves" and "Good things to come." They are 2 of my favorites so far. The kids really liked them, and the messages are so powerful. In fact, Olivia asked if she could watch more of them today. If you haven't seen them, go watch them- I dare you to get through them without crying. As a mom of mostly boys, "Sanctify yourselves" was especially powerful (make sure to pull out the kleenex, Lauren :)). They are both told by Elder Holland and his spirit is overwhelming. I love that man.
Watch it and thank me later.

Hey lady! I've been thinking a lot about you & your cute family lately. It's good to read a little about what you've been up to. I can't believe the fun run ribbon fiasco. As a mom that just breaks your heart!
So interesting you'd mention this particular Mormon Message, Mary. It IS a marvelous one. After Savannah's baptism Saturday (Nov. 5) everyone went over to James and Andrea's for some lunch. As we were all gathering, James actually pulled THIS same clip (sanctify yourselves) up on his TV in the upstairs family room to play for us. Mostly it was the adults watching at this particular moment, but truly we were all impacted by the spirit of the message. I'm glad to know YOUR FAMILY found this too!!! See, we ARE CONNECTED--no matter how many miles separate us!
I am headed over right now! I have my Kleenex at the ready ☺. Thanks for the recommendation!
I love these messages. They are so very powerful. Thanks for sharing. Miss you!
I cried like a small child. Thank you again. ☺
We watched the forgiveness one in Relief Society last Sunday (have you seen it?) and everyone was crying. It hits you like that. So what are you guys doing for Turkey day? We are coming out and we'd love to see you. I don't know if GGma knows we are coming yet, it might still be a secret. But it will be fun to see everybody. I hope all your plans for moving are going well. Love ya!
