BOY!
Jude Nikolas was born last Thursday.
We picked Jude because Dudi is a stickler on Biblical names and Nikolas is a family name on my side (a great great grandfather). Nikolas Petrik was born in Austria where Dudi served his mission, and he died on my birth day, so we felt like we both had a bond with him.
He weighed 7.7 and 21 inches long.
He is a sweet little guy, but gave us a little scare when he was born.
He had the cord around his neck 3 times, but after getting cleaned up, he started crying and is perfect!
siblings think he is perfect too!
We are all in love with him!

So, I have been wanting to call but I am always afraid that, by some miracle, that you are resting. I saw Dudi on Tuesday night and I said, "I made all the people in the foyer promise not to tell me if the baby was a boy or girl." I wanted to hear it straight from him. It was an exciting moment for me.

Whoa...the cord around his neck is so scary! Dr. Cook is so awesome. Now he has saved both of our babies' lives.
Congratulations, Mary! How exciting! I had absolutely no idea you were pregnant...I was wondering why I haven't seen any posts lately. He is beautiful and I love his name. I promise I won't bug you for drawings for at least a few months (if you're even still doing that).

Mary, he is adorable! I think he looks a lot like Asher! Yikes, to have the cord wrapped around 3 times. So scary! I miss you and can't wait to see more pictures!

Congratulations you guys! He is a beautiful little boy. Thanks for posting pictures. It is so exciting to see your (our) family growing so much. Tip: keep him away from your southern boiled peanuts for at least a year :)
Jude is adorable! We need more pictures - I am sure he has changed a lot. Wish you lived closer so we could hold him!! Give him a hug and kiss for me.
