Well, we survived another year of the Fun Run. 
This was Asher's first year and he did so good! He ran the whole mile and finished in great time! He really enjoyed it and even asked me to run with him next year. I should probably start training now so I can keep up with him! It was so much fun to see him out there running.
The following day was Micah's run. It was exciting, yet heart wrenching to watch Micah get 5th place...for the 4th year in a row! He was so bummed, but he had a great attitude (the top 4 get ribbons). Something has to be done. Really, getting 5th all 4 years!!!! I think he did so awesome, but the poor kid is so set on getting one of those ribbons. He was disappointed at first, but then he looked at me and said, "There's always next year."

The pictures you have here are so sweet of Micah and Asher (and Dudi...wouldn't want to leave him out ☺). Micah is a Prince among Men. What a great attitude he has. I would be like, "Give me a ribbon or heads are gonna roll!!!"
I always look forward to your yearly 'fun run' pictures, Mary. These are the best yet, I believe. Darling little faces (and even that face of Mr. B is pretty awesome)!
Didn't Micah come down with pneumonia a year ago --or close to it--right in the middle of some run like this? It seems to me something occurred like that once.
Anyway, I think I'm going to start praying now for Micah to come in at least 4th next year! SERIOUSLY, the little darling deserves that on attitude and perseverance alone! {and every year I do notice his dad is still in there running too!!} #1 dad of the year award to you, son!
