field day

Micah had his field day and end of school party.
I always enjoy those events and this year was no different. They had fun games set up for the kids and they were able to go outside instead of wasting the last week watching movies and have some fun.

Spectators.

These games are intense.

The end of the year party was a luau. They had congo lines going, hula hoops, and some good food. All the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.
Micah had an awesome teacher this year. He is actually pretty sad to be leaving the 2nd grade. A lot of his friends were in his class too. He had a great year and we are so proud of how well he did. Next year I'll have a 3rd grader and a kindergartner!

I agree with Hannah. The pictures are awesome, Mary! I love the top one and the one of him running!!

Adam had Mrs. Lockamy!! We loved her, too!!!!

I love the spectators! Olivia's glasses and head band are spectacular!

Asher looks like a kid I've seen in a movie once. I can't put my finger on it. Or maybe it's just an image of a tiny Davin that I remember from long ago . . .he probably doesn't sit with his mouth slightly open and have a glazed-over look on his face as much as he did when we were kids! (or maybe you just don't let him play as many video games) :)
That is crazy that you'll have a 3rd grader and a Kindergartner next year. Wow! You are an example to me. I am finding myself a woose in the schooling category . . . we're going to do another year of preschool for Sadie before I can actually be brave enough to send her to real school. I keep saying she's not ready for it, but maybe it's me!
Love your guts and wish I could see you guys more!
