I mean REalLy loves it.
I was actually okay with it too. I figured she'd out grow it eventually.
I was wrong.
She wanted it all day and it started to really drive me crazy.
I tried a ton of different things-toy bribes, treats, sticker charts, force, the "big girl" talk, you name it, I think I tried it.
Then a couple months ago we saw "Princess and the Frog." Oh, how she loves that movie.
I had given up on the whole weaning of the pacifier ( aka the paa and pappy paa, I seriously don't know where she came up with those names), because I was exhausted.
Around the same time she entered the world of Barbie.
One day I just casually asked if she would give me pappy pa if I bought her a Tiana barbie.
She say yes, so I took her to the store, bought it (okay she also weaseled an Ariel barbie out of me too, but if it worked, it was totally worth it), and she handed over the paa (I guess she was just waiting for the right toy).
It has now been two months and I haven't had one single problem with that old pappy paa.
She still has it at night, but I think she's just holding out to see what else she can milk from me.
