Wow! This year we reallllly drug out the whole birthday deal. I think Micah ended up celebrating his birthday 4 times.
The first time we celebrated was a week before his birthday at Disneyworld.
The second was on his birthday with just our family.
The third time was over his baptism weekend with his grandparents and other family members that came in.
And finally, the FOURTH time was his actual birthday party with friends. We didn't have a free weekend till the middle of Feb., so that's when we did it.
Of course it was Star Wars themed (His cake was a star wars lego guy. At some point I will draw the line as far as cake requests go).
It was a lot of fun and we had star wars food and games! Thankfully I can just reuse ideas from previous years!

How fun! We had a Star Wars party for Xander last year and it was a lot of fun; I'm hoping he or Noah will want another one so it will save on brainstorming. Plus, I can always turn to you for ideas as well.
Mary, that cake is totally awesome!!!! I was thinking about how last year one of the kids in Micah's class told you that your cupcakes rocked. You are very talented!

I still remember that delicious 'star wars' chocolate layer cake we had that afternoon at the T-Rex Cafe in Hollywood Disney for Micah's FIRST BIRTHDAY celebration you mentioned. If I close my eyes, I can practically still taste it! It was sooooo good (but not as good as the company Dan and I were with!!). Love you guys, always.
Micah's other birthday celebrations looked like a lot of fun, too, Mary, as you've depicted here on the blog. I consider myself TWICE blessed this year.....I got to be with you guys for Birthday Celebration #3 you wrote about, too! Nothing like going from FAMINE to FEAST I say. Dan and I have had to go so many years in a row without being to any of your kids' birthday 'parties'...and now we finally caught 'some'. We're mighty glad about that!!
