Star wars and conference

This weekend was a highly anticipated one in our house. For months-seriously, months-Micah has been waiting for the second season of Star Wars the Clone Wars. Friday was the premiere so we had a Jedi-themed evening.

We had the ever so nutritious meal of lightsaber hotdogs, obi-wan oranges, Tatooine tots, and Jedi juice.

One of Asher's cute friends, Stephen, got to join in the festivities. I'm sure his parent's love us for turning him into a Star wars fanatic too! Thank us later.

We finished up the meal with the "Dark Side" cupcakes. The "dark side" is so tempting...
Asher couldn't resist.
We love Star Wars (the above pic. is for Tracie-just so you know I'm working on them), and enjoyed the Premiere ALMOST as much as we enjoyed watching Conference this weekend. The kids did pretty well and I think I was able to hear most the talks. My favorites were probably Elder Eyring who spoke on "A loving Family" and definitely Elder Hollands on the Book of Mormon-so incredible. We are so blessed to have latter-day prophets and apostles.

It was a great weekend with the family. I sure love them.

Did you draw that Mary?

I did. I'm currently drawing 12 Star Wars guys for my friend Tracie's little boys.

Okay, so I am soooo excited! You are so amazingly talented! I showed Xander the picture of your drawing and he can hardly wait. What a fun night for you guys. It was Xander's birthday party that night and I had told him we would watch the new episode after the party...and then I totally forgot. Good thing we have the DVR!

Oh, Mary...that drawing is FANTASTIC!!

You always make me smile, I laughed at the, "Thank us later." for the Haycocks.

Oh, I am definitely converted to the darkside. Those cupcakes look worth it.

What a clever meal! You are awesome. I like that picture of Micah wielding his light sabre hot dog...it makes me want to cue the theme song music.
