I like to make any holiday a little more fun, but this morning was just like any other, with the exception of a "hearty" breakfast followed by a heart hunt. Then the kids got their valentine's and it was off to a birthday party and a basketball game. It did turn out to be a pretty special day though.
Why I love MY Valentine this Valentine's
Reason #1
Thoughtful gifts= roses, handmade (sorta) card, and an adorable bag I had seen-he is so good to me.
Reason #2Okay, this is the REAL reason. What my sweet husband is holding is not another gift for me, well, in a way it is. The previous blog mentioned an unwanted guest, here is the follow up. After the exterminator set some traps under our tub ( in the white box pictured below), we felt a little more at ease. Short lived. That very night when we were getting ready for bed we heard a scratching. Okay, I don't know why they use sticky pads-what do you do when it's caught?! Dudi wasn't about to get the trap while the poor mouse was alive, so he opted to wait till the morning. So instead of listening to the squeaking and scratching, we shut the door and returned to the scene in the morning. After building up courage and getting his tools, -"just in case," Dudi did get the trap (mouse still alive) and put it in the shoe box. Yeah! End of story, no more mice!!!
Reason #3The date. We went to a yummy dinner, then we stopped by a Jewelers -at his request (our 10 year anniversary is not too far of. What girl doesn't love to try on sparkly things?), and then finished off with desert to die for! SO GOOD!!!! He is such a wonderful husband.
I am a lucky, lucky girl.
